ONU : Remembrance and Beyond
The Holocaust and the United Nations outreach programme seeks to remind the world of the lessons to be learnt from the Holocaust in order to help to prevent future acts of genocide.
The outreach programme was created at the request of the United Nations General Assembly in its resolution 60/7, adopted on 1 November 2005. The United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI) has taken the lead in creating a broad initiative, designed to encourage the development by United Nations Member States of educational curricula on the subject of the Holocaust, and to mobilize civil society for education and awareness.

CASIP-COJASOR : The Committee for Jewish Social Action in Paris is an institution, created on October 24, 1809, under the aegis of the Consistory of Jews in France. In 1963 it adopted the name CASIP. Since its creation, CASIP has worked in the fights against poverty within the Jewish community in Paris. Over time, several services have been developed: soup kitchens, loan banks, locker rooms, old age homes, establishments for children and students, and unemployment assistance.
COJASOR : (Jewish Committee for Social Action and Reconstruction), created clandestinely, was officially born the day after the end of World War Two with the aim of helping survivors of the Shoah. The general organ of assistance for victims of Nazi persecution, established with the help of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC or “Joint”) and the High Commission for Refugees, was an important resource for bringing help and assistance, in particular to the elderly. The first old age home was opened at Aix-les-Bains in 1945, followed by a second in Nice in 1949.
