The Gisosi Memorial is located in the district of Gasabo, in Kigali city. The victims of the genocide (about 300,000) are buried there from the year 2000.
Both a cemetery, an exhibition site and a center for documentation and teaching on the history of the genocide, this site is the only memorial in the city of Kigali.
