Samuel Arabsky, 14 years old in 1941, was born in Uzhchno in the region of Zhythomyr, near Dovbyzh. On the outskirts of this village, Jewish families, escorted by Ukrainian police officers and part of the population, are taken to the vicinity of three pits by order of the SS.

After several hours of waiting, they are shot by the Ukrainian police and buried by their neighbors who share clothes and valuables.
