Witness account 90: Samuel Arabski, born in 1927. Interviewed at Dobyzh, Zhytomir region, on 08/03/04.

Samuel Arabski, 14 years old in 1941, was born at Uzichno in the Zhytomir region, near Dovbyzh. On SS orders, Jewish families were escorted by Ukrainian policemen and part of the local population to the edge of three pits in the outskirts of the village. After having to wait for several hours, they were shot by the Ukrainian policemen and buried by their neighbors who shared their clothes and valuables.
