What was the port e of Primo Levi’s moignage?

T.P.E. by Bertrand, D borah, and Tiffanie

Welcome!

Welcome to this website, created as part of the EPT of Premi re.
The topic we were discussing is Primo Levi’s boarding: what message does it contain? How did he participate in raising awareness of the Holocaust in Europe? What is the difference between him and the others? So many questions we will try to answer...
You will therefore find here a short biography of Primo Levi, followed by a presentation of three of his works, including an in-depth analysis of If it’s a man. Then, you will be able to visit the pages dedicated to the percussions in this book as well as the connections with other titles. Finally, you will find a lexicon and our sources, if you are looking for more.

Why Primo Levi?

Why did we choose to do it If it’s a man the subject of our study?
First of all, because we find this book to be one of the most poignant and richest studies on portation. Although Primo Levi is above all a scientist, his work is a work of art that cannot be ignored.
On the other hand, because we wanted to exploit the advantage that we had through diversity of languages, including German, Italian, and Spanish. The work of Primo Levi was entirely appropriate; it was made for this purpose, since the author particularly insists on the fact that language is one of the last things that remained in the past to feel human and to express oneself.
