Presentation of educational projects

The pedagogical contribution of the study trips to Auschwitz is based on the quality of the projects developed by the teaching teams and the participating classes.

Building on the first, final and professional programs, a multidisciplinary preparation is implemented before the start through several supports: courses, reading of texts and presentations, classroom screening of documentary films, analysis of archival documents relating to the mechanisms of the final Solution in Vichy France... Local research allows, for example, the l ves to cover the fate of Jewish families in their city or region under the Occupation, in order to better appropriate this complex history. The classes selected also benefit from a guided visit to the Shoah Memorial. This awareness phase aims to mobilize the l ves and involve them in an active process of knowledge acquisition.

After the return, the students change their actions and undertake the realization of restitution works that are divided into several large categories: exhibitions, written productions (newspapers, logbooks, brochures ), multimedia supports (films, websites, cd-roms, slideshows, radio missions) and artistic projects (music, visual arts). Whatever the form adopted, this work cannot rely solely on the expression of the feelings of the ves and must present an informative content on the history of the Jewish genocide. They constitute an essential vector for r flexion and deepening of knowledge. The organization of interventions within the establishment and the holding of events open to the public (meetings, screenings, etc.) usefully include this device through a transmission component.

Ann e by ann e, this site offers an aper u of the classes' productions, in their diversity and without a spirit of classification. Due to technical constraints, all the projects are not able to be presented.
