The partnership

The program initiated by the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah and developed by the Memorial of the Shoah concerns the classes of First and Terminal, where the theme of the Shoah appears in the program. Third-grade classes were also associated from 2004 to 2006. The schools in a dozen regions, renewed each year, are thus the recipients of a call for applications, circulated during the school year. The classes are then selected on the basis of a pedagogical project proposed by the teachers, bringing together the voluntary pupils of a given class.

This project is implemented throughout the school year, before and after the one-day study trip to Auschwitz from regional metropolises. It gives rise to an important work of restitution from the students.
