The partnership

The program initiated by the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah and developed by the Mémorial de la Shoah concerns the classes of Première and Terminale, where the theme of the Shoah is included in the program. Third-grade classes were also associated from 2004 to 2006. The schools in about ten regions, renewed each year, are thus recipients of a call for applications, distributed during the start of the school year. Classes are then selected on the basis of an educational project proposed by teachers, bringing together volunteer students from a specific class.

This project is implemented throughout the school year, upstream and downstream of the study trip to Auschwitz organized on a day departing from regional metropolises. It gives rise to an important work of restitution from the students.
