The Ile-de-France Region actively participates in the duty of remembrance: in addition to its agreement with the Shoah Memorial and its participation in the expansion work on it, it disseminates in high schools an exhibition created by students, accompanied by the newspaper « How do we get there? ».
This journal, solely devoted to the Shoah, is produced by the Regional Council of Ile-de-France in collaboration with the Mémorial de la Shoah which, relying on its extensive documentary collection, provides the texts and photos that make it up. Published in 150,000 copies, it is addressed to all public and private high schools in the Île-de-France region under contract on the occasion of 27 January, European Day for the Remembrance of the Holocaust and for the Prevention of Crimes against Humanity.
