The Ile-de-France Region actively participates in the duty of remembrance: in addition to its agreement with the Shoah Memorial and its participation in its enlargement work, it disseminates an exhibition created by high school students, accompanied by the newspaper «How does one get there?».
This journal, solely devoted to the Shoah, is produced by the Regional Council of Ile-de-France in collaboration with the Shoah Memorial, which, drawing on its extensive documentary fund, provides the texts and photos that make up it. Published in 150,000 copies, it is addressed to all public and private high schools in the Paris region under contract, on the occasion of 27 January, European Day for Holocaust Remembrance and the Prevention of Crimes against Humanity.
