Projects for the year 2004-2005: CD-Roms

All the documentary research carried out to prepare the study tour: Auschwitz can lead to the creation of a CD-ROM. After defining together the list of topics to be addressed, the students divide into working groups, write the texts and learn how to create a digital medium. Once completed, the CD-ROM is distributed within the institution and allows for educational workshops on the history of the Holocaust.

Memory work. Study trip to Auschwitz.

To prepare for the study trip to Auschwitz, students in their ES year of high school at the Lycée Victor Hugo in Poitiers conducted research and wrote summaries on various topics such as Nazi anti-Semitism, the history of the genocide or the memory of the Shoah in Poitiers. Gathered on a CD-ROM, their work was presented to the public on the occasion of the inauguration of a plaque in memory of six Jewish students deported to Auschwitz, on 26 April 2005.
