After the study tour, students are asked to present their project to other classes at the high school. These oral interventions are most often based on slideshows made from photographs of the camp. Each image is the subject of a commentary, prepared with the teachers, which sheds historical light on the discovered sites and the organization of the Auschwitz complex. Other slideshows, involving special evaluation and monitoring, are carried out as part of the Supervised Personal Works (TPE).
The raid of the Opera in Marseille
On 22 and 23 January 1943, 782 inhabitants of Marseille were handed over to the Gestapo by the Vichy Police because they were Jews. Locked up in the prison of Baumettes then transferred to the internment camp of Compiègne, in the northern zone, they were deported on 23 and 25 March to the death center of Sobibor to be immediately gassed. The work of the students at the Institut supérieur Marseille Cadenelle traces the progress of this raid using maps, photographs and archival documents.
