Educational projects of the year 2008-2009: slideshows

After the study tour, students are asked to present their project to other classes in the high school. These oral interventions are most often based on slideshows made from photographs of the camp. Each image is the subject of a commentary, prepared with the teachers, which sheds historical light on the discovered sites and the organization of the Auschwitz complex. Other slideshows, involving specific evaluation and follow-up, are carried out as part of the Supervised Personal Works (TPE).

The Shoah, Lyon

On August 11, 1944, the last convoy of Jewish ports in France left directly from Lyon to Auschwitz, without passing through Drancy. To prepare for the study trip in which they participated, on December 9, 2008, the students of the International School Conference took part in the unique history of their city from 1940 to 1944, with interviews and interviews by Klaus Barbie about the hunt for Jews. traveled through the places of my memory of the Shoah, Lyon, and retract it from several ports. About a trip: Auschwitz

On the 3rd of February 2009, a class in Terminale S from the high school of Paul C zanne in Aix-en-Provence covered the site of Auschwitz with its history and philosophy teachers. On the way back, the students presented a general slideshow on the history and memory of the Shoah, addressing the question of forgiveness, starting from the works of V. Jank the biography and J. Derrida.

The Jews of exclusion, extermination

Based on the book by Anne Grynberg, La Shoah, l'impossible oubli, the lives of 1 st S student Fran ois Magendie from Bordeaux have been restored: a slideshow recounts the history of the harmful group of the Nazi revolution in Germany in 1933, and the liberation of the camps by the Alli s in 1945.

Return of Auschwitz

On the return from the trip of study, Auschwitz, the lives of the first ES of the opera La Martini re Duch re of Lyon have been enriched with personal texts and an exhibition on the Shoah and the Auschwitz camp, installed in the hall of the opera in April and May 2009. A slideshow of lessons showing all the work done by the class in history and French throughout the school year.
