The impact of Auschwitz on current populations

The sisters of 1 res S wrote texts from Slam, voicing the Holocaust, their feelings, covering the site of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the life of Dr. Marc Grunberg, in port on July 6, 1942, by the convoy known as ¥45,000.

These texts were published on a website where the women also uploaded their research and photos of their meeting with Simon Igel, rescaping from Auschwitz, and the reconstruction of their work.

"The Jewish community of Nantes on the eve of the Second World War."

By using the archival files of the Aryanization of the prefecture of Loire Inférieure, the students of 1ère L discovered the role of the city’s Jews in municipal, cultural, religious and economic life.
This story is very old and intertwined with that of Nantes.
All the research work is available for consultation on the school’s website and presents a number of archived documents:

"We are the witnesses of the witnesses"

By working with the association AMEJDAM (Association for the Memory of Jewish Children Deported from the Alpes-Maritimes), the students of 1ère ES and their teacher of History and Geography thought they would find information about former high school students who had been deported during the war. The available high school archives begin in 1946. They therefore choose to extend their research to the children of the Alpes-Maritimes and, among other things, meet Roger Wolman, a hidden child during the war. The works and reflections are available online:
