Keep an eye out for the silent rooms

From a family legend talking about a Jew hiding in a barn in a village of the Creuse, the students of the first vocational baccalaureate of the high school of Bourdonni res inquired about the fate of the Ostander family. After research at the Public Archives, collections of documents from former neighbors, requests from different institutions. The group retraced the journeys of the members of this family and found these descendants. It is in the format of an important exhibition that these works have been presented in the setting.

The suitcases of memory

In order to link their specialty and the study of the history of the Shoah, the apprentice carpenters of the CFA BTP Sarthe, supervised by their trainers in Lettres-Histoire and Documentaliste, have created an exhibition presented in suitcases and wooden trunks drawn and built by them. It traces the different stages of the destruction of the Jews of Europe, the deportation of the Jews of France, as well as the history of their department.
