Words for memory
Upon their return from the study trip to Auschwitz, the students of Tale L at the J-H. Lambert high school in Mulhouse worked notably on the theme of the memory of the Shoah. They made a booklet of nearly 70 pages. Recounting their visits to the Shoah Memorial in Paris and the site of Auschwitz, they also evoke their meetings with Yvette Levy and Ginette Kolinka, former deportees from Auschwitz-Birkenau. Testimonies and poems related to the deportation of the Jews are also included.

Having an identity in Auschwitz
By working on the history and reality of the Auschwitz complex, the apprentices of CFA Jean Mermoz were interested in the identity of the victims. Thus, they produced a special 44-page issue of their journal
They wrote texts and articles in which they retraced the journey of several deportees while studying the history of the camp. Trying to give back an identity to the deportees, they evoked their life before the war, the loss of their identity at Auschwitz and, for those who survived, the way in which they regained their identity after their release.
