"Marguerite, from Nantes..."
On 24 January 1943, a convoy of 230 women left the Compiègne camp for Auschwitz. Among them Marguerite Lermite, a communist schoolteacher from Bouaye who will receive upon arrival the number 31835. To pay tribute to him, the students of the 1st STG of the lycée Alcide d'Orbigny created an exhibition presented at the municipal library in May and June 2010.

The Shoah: surviving and testifying
After studying the theatrical adaptation of Primo Levi’s Si c'est un homme, a BEP class from the lycée les Bourdonnières in Nantes wrote several scenes inspired by the testimony of Paul Steinberg, Chroniques d'ailleurs. Upon returning from the study tour, the students created an exhibition and organized a restitution day at their school. Their entire educational project is presented on the website
