"Marguerite, from Nantes..."
On 24 January 1943, a convoy of 230 women left the camp at Compiègne for Auschwitz. Among them Marguerite Lermite, a communist schoolteacher from Bouaye who will receive upon her arrival the registration number 31835. The Shoah: surviving and witnessing
After studying the theatrical adaptation of If it’s a man by Primo Levi, a BEP class from the Bourdonnières high school in Nantes wrote several scenes inspired by the testimony of Paul Steinberg, Chroniques d'ailleurs. Upon returning from the study trip, the students created an exhibition and organized a restitution day in their establishment. Their entire educational project is presented on the website
