Educational projects for the year 2009-2010: booklets

The memory of the Shoah

As part of their history and philosophy programs, the students of Terminale L from Lycée Cuvier de Montbéliard studied the memory of the Shoah and its evolution since 1945. At the end of this work, they produced a summary document addressing the history of antisemitism, the film Nuit et brouillard by Alain Resnais, the Eichmann trial, the negationist theses and the testimony of survivors.

Memory of Auschwitz

On 20 January 2010, a class from the Jean Jaurès vocational high school in Grenoble took part in a study tour to Auschwitz organized by the Shoah Memorial and the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah in partnership with the City of Grenoble and the Academy Rectorate. On the way back, the students created a "memoir notebook" and organized a meeting between a fifth-grade class and an Auschwitz survivor, Yvette Lévy, deported from Drancy on 31 July 1944.
