The memory of the Shoah

As part of their history and philosophy programs, the students of Terminale L of the Cuvier high school in Montbéliard studied the memory of the Shoah and its evolution since 1945. At the end of this work, they produced a summary document addressing the history of anti-Semitism, the film Nuit et brouillard by Alain Resnais, the Eichmann trial, the Holocaust denial theses and the testimony of survivors.

Memory of Auschwitz

On 20 January 2010, a class from the Jean Jaurès vocational high school in Grenoble participated in a study tour to Auschwitz organized by the Shoah Memorial and the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah in partnership with the City of Grenoble and the Academy Rectorate. Upon their return, the students created a 'notebook of memories' and organized a meeting between a fifth-grade class and an Auschwitz survivor, Yvette Lévy, deported from Drancy on July 31, 1944.
