On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the camps, the Shoah Memorial pays tribute to the last survivors through a series of five unpublished video capsules directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache.
Ogni film raffigura l'incontro tra un giovane e un sopravvissuto.
In these exchanges, Larissa Cain, Judith Elkán, Ginette Kolinka, Yvette Lévy and Léon Placek share their experiences of anti-Semitic persecution and deportation. Parlando ai giovani, essi offrono una trasmissione intima e vivida della loro storia.
Accanto alle capsule, i visitatori sono invitati a scoprire il ricco ed essenziale archivio personale degli ultimi testimoni dell'Olocausto.
This exhibition thus questions the evolution of memory and the indispensable transmission of this tragedy to the younger generations.
