A network of Holocaust remembrance sites in France, bringing together eleven institutions, was officially launched on Wednesday 23 March 2016 at the Ministry of National Education and the Shoah Memorial to strengthen cooperation between its members and train young "ambassadors of memory".
A declaration of principle has been signed by all the partners, including Minister of National Education Najat Vallaud-Belkacem and the Secretary of State to the Minister of Defense Jean-Marc Todeschini.
On this occasion, the historian and lawyer Serge Klarsfeld and the president of the Union of Auschwitz deportees Raphaël Esrail intervened in particular before a hundred participants to recall the sense of commitment to the service of democratic and republican values.
