A network of Holocaust Places of Remembrance in France bringing together 11 institutions was officially launched on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Ministry of National Education and the Shoah Memorial. The goal: to strengthen cooperation between members and train young “ambassadors of memory”.

All the partners, including National Education Minister Najat Vallaud-Belkacem and the Secretary of State reporting to Defense Minister Jean-Marc Todeschini, signed a declaration of principle.

Historian and lawyer Serge Klarsfeld and Raphaël Esrail, president of the Union of Jews Deported to Auschwitz, spoke before approximately 100 participants, underscoring the meaning of the commitment to democratic and republican values.
