THE MEMORIAL OF THE SHOAH is committed to respecting the privacy of Internet users accessing the Site. The purpose of the data management policy is to enable the user to become aware of the processing procedures for his personal data throughout his navigation on the site and of his rights regarding respect for his privacy and protection of his personal data.

The controller of personal data processed within the framework of the website is the SHOAH MEMORIAL.

A special feature concerns personal data collected by clicking on icons of partners or social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. In this case, the controller is the third party whose website or social network is consulted.

During the navigation of users on the site data concerning them may be collected. No data will be collected without the knowledge of the users. Data is collected only for the following specific, explicit and legitimate purposes:

  • Inform about the news of the SHOAH MEMORIAL,

  • Manage job seekers,
  • Maintain and optimize the site in order to verify/improve the quality of service, availability and performance of the service, resolve any problems or anomalies of operation, and secure the site against fraud.

This data may be shared with third party subcontractors assisting the SHOAH MEMORIAL in its missions.

WHERE ARE THE DATA AND HOW LONG ARE THEY KEPT?

– Internet users have the right to decide on their post-mortem fate and to obtain the prompt erasure of data collected when they were minors at the time of collection;
– Internet users also have the right to object to data processing, to limit it.
