«The end of the Holocaust and the Nazi concentration camp universe: surviving, testifying, judging (1944-1948)»

Supporting students and teachers for the National Resistance and Deportation Competition of the 2025-2026 school year, "The End of the Shoah and the Nazi concentration camp universe. Survivre, témoigner, juger (1944-1948), will again be a highlight of the educational actions of the Shoah Memorial.

Workshops and exploratory visits have been rethought or created in the light of this new subject. Training is also offered for teachers. An event program featuring renowned historians will enrich the existing offer presented in this brochure.

The archives of our Foundation will be mobilized in order to facilitate the research and work of students. Access to the testimonials collected over many years by our services will be a highlight of the preparation for the competition.

A travelling exhibition dedicated to this year’s theme will be created and available in schools for teachers who request it. It will also be presented at the Drancy site starting in February 2026. Mediation sessions for students may be scheduled.

Our services remain attentive to your projects, both in Paris and Drancy, as well as in schools in the regions, in order to offer tailored responses to the choices of educational teams.
