Bertrand Herz a témoigné à de nombreuses reprises au Mémorial de la Shoah et dans de nombreux établissements scolaires. Témoin engagé, rigoureux et humaniste, il était un artisan du dialogue entre les mémoires de la déportation et une figure du travail de mémoire franco-allemand.

Nous adressons, à ses enfants Olivier, Florence et Véronique, à toute sa famille et à ses proches, nos plus sincères condoléances.
