CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) INFORMATION
February 28, 2022 update
As of Monday, February 28, 2022, the wearing of masks is no longer required within the Shoah Memorial.
In accordance with the legal provisions in force, as of Wednesday, July 21 (August 30 for those aged 12 to 17), a health pass must be presented at the entrance of our museums along with an identity document. (national identity card, passport, driver’s license or any other official document with your name, first name and photo, such as student card, health insurance card or other).
The health pass is to be presented upon your arrival at the museum with proof of identity (national ID card, passport, driver’s license or any other official document with your name, first name and photo, student card type, health insurance card or other).
The health pass consists of a digital or paper presentation of one of the following three health proofs:
– a vaccination certificate, provided that people have a complete vaccination schedule;
– a certificate of RT-PCR or negative antigen test lasting less than 48 hours;
– the result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test showing recovery from Covid-19, dated at least 11 days and less than 6 months ago.
Entry is subject to a health pass only for those over 18 years old as of July 21, 2021. Young people aged 12 to 17 may present themselves without a health pass until 30 August 2021.

The "vaccination pass" is required for:
- Access to places of leisure and culture (including theatres, amusement parks, concert halls, festivals, gyms, game rooms, libraries and documentation centres, or cinemas);
- Commercial catering activities (bars and restaurants, including on terraces), except for collective catering or take-away sales of prepared meals, professional road and rail catering, room service in restaurants and hotel bars and non-commercial catering, notably the free distribution of meals;
- Trade fairs and exhibitions, and professional seminars if they take place outside the company and bring together more than 50 people;
- Long-distance travel by interregional public transport (domestic flights, high-speed trains, intercity and night trains, inter-regional coaches);
- Ski lifts in ski resorts;
- Access to tourist accommodations such as campsites or holiday clubs with a single check at the beginning of the stay.
Health and social care services and establishments, for people accompanying or visiting people admitted to these services and establishments as well as for those who are admitted there for scheduled care, remain subject to the health pass. except in an emergency, and not with the vaccination pass.
These rules regarding the "vaccination pass" apply to clients and users of the establishments and activities concerned. It is the responsibility of the operators to implement the "vaccination pass" in their establishments.
The vaccination pass is applicable to people and employees who intervene in these places, establishments, services or events, and are in contact with the public.
People undertaking a vaccination course until 15 February 2022 have the temporary opportunity to obtain a valid "vaccination pass", provided they receive their second dose within 4 weeks and present a negative test less than 24 hours before.
