« How does one get there? »: the newspaper of the Ile-de-France Region Le Mémorial en France

The Ile-de-France Region actively participates in the work of remembrance: besides its agreement with the Shoah Memorial and its participation in its expansion, it disseminates in high schools an exhibition created by students, accompanied by the newspaper « How do we get there? ».

This journal, solely devoted to the Holocaust, is produced by the Île-de-France Regional Council in collaboration with the Mémorial de la Shoah which, relying on its extensive documentary collection, provides the texts and photos that make it up. Published in 150,000 copies, it is addressed to all public and private high schools in the Île-de-France region under contract on the occasion of 27 January, European Day for the Remembrance of the Holocaust and for the Prevention of Crimes against Humanity.

Each year, a printed version of the newspaper is also available on request, depending on available stocks, from the Lycées Unit – Educational Actions service of the Ile-de-France Region
