Citizenship training days

As part of a programme to develop actions for citizenship, citizen participation and the fight against discrimination, the Shoah Memorial offers teachers, supervisory staff and management of schools in Île-de-France, a training program over two complementary sessions. In partnership with the Regional Council of Île-de-France.

Cycle of 2 modules:
on November 15 and December 6, 2017 or January 17 and February 7, 2018

First day:

  • 14 h – 15 h: Secularism: definition and application within the school
  • 15 h – 15 h 30 : Questions
  • 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Address sensitive issues at school (teaching the history of the Holocaust and genocides, racism, antisemitism, Middle East)
  • 4:30 pm – 5 pm: Questions
  • 17 h – 18 h: Visit of the Shoah Memorial

Second day:

  • 2 PM – 3 PM: The springs of conspiracy
  • 15 h – 15 h 30:Questions
  • 3:30 pm – 5 pm: Deconstructing conspiracy theories, a practical case
  • 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm: Discussion

Duration: 2 half-days

Rate : Free, subject to availability.
Lunch is covered.
