WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small text file that can be placed on an Internet user’s browsing device (computer, smartphone or tablet), when the user consults an online service using a browser program.

In all cases, cookies placed on the user’s browsing device with their consent are deleted 13 months after being placed on the device.

WHAT ARE COOKIES ON OUR SITE USED FOR?

The cookies are used to:

  • monitor visitor numbers and use of the various elements that make up our Site (sections and content visited, browsing journey), along with statistics, for the purpose of making our services more user-friendly and interesting;
  • adapt the presentation of our Site to users’ display preferences (display resolution, operating system used, etc.) according to the hardware and software used to view or read it on the various devices;
  • store information about a form completed by a user on our Site (registration or donation).

Social media cookies may also be generated when a user browses the Site, in particular when using share buttons that gather personal data.

HOW DO I CONTROL WHAT COOKIES ARE USED?

At any time, the user can configure his browsing software in order to allow or prevent the storing of cookies on his device. Declining cookies can be systematic or depend on the issuer. By configuring the browsing software, the user can also choose to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis, before a cookie can be stored on his device.

Important: browsing of our Site and the conditions of access to certain services requiring the use of cookies may be affected by changes made to the settings. We accept no responsibility for the consequences of a user declining or deleting cookies, such as inability to store or consult the cookies necessary to their functioning, leading to the impaired functioning of our services.
