Generations together!
The Forum Generations of the Shoah brings together for the
For the generations marked by the Holocaust, the challenge is major. How can we continue to pass on the memory of our parents, which fades as time goes by?
The Forum is a unique opportunity to share experiences in order to enrich them, listen to survivors to immerse themselves in their experience, and show them that future generations are truly there and carry the torch of their parents' memory.
Can we say that roles are shared? What is the role of families? The role of historians, philosophers, archivists, and museums? That of doctors, activists, or even politicians? What are the possible relays? Music perhaps? Culture, art? And why not the kitchen? How did October 7, 2023, impact the transmission of the Holocaust?
The Forum evokes all this, anchored in today’s world, in a whirlwind of voices, music, storytellers.
The organizing committee wishes you a very nice Forum.
For a "memory still alive"!

For any questions:
The Forum Générations de la Shoah brings together in France the survivors of the Shoah, the hidden children, the Jewish fighters, their descendants, the associations for the memory of the victims and for the fighting memory, the Righteous among the nations of France and their descendants. Inspired by the success of intergenerational meetings held for more than 20 years in the United States, the Forum Generations of the Shoah offers a rich and varied program: workshops, conferences, concerts and visits. You will be able to meet the representatives of more than fifty associations in order to share convivial moments. With a multitude of speakers, these days of exchanges and sharing are for all generations who, marked by the Shoah, want to meet.
