Give or drop off your films

In its effort to collect and preserve the history of the European Jews, the audiovisual centre creates a collection of amateur films made on all formats and media. Essential to the constitution of twentieth-century memory, these personal films show aspects of reality ignored in classical cinema. This collection, a source of significant heritage wealth, hosts both family films and fictions, reports or cartoons, made by filmmakers and video artists.

The audiovisual center welcomes you and advises you in the delivery of your original films or copies you wish to entrust. They will be saved, digitized and kept at the audiovisual center. You retain ownership of your films and choose the conditions for their release (on-site consultation, use in workshops, documentary productions, etc.).

If you have recorded your testimony or the testimony of a loved one on cassette, DVD or any other medium and you wish to hand it over to the audiovisual centre at the Memorial, please contact us.
