Give or drop off your films
In its approach to collecting and preserving the history of the Jews of Europe, the audiovisual centre creates a collection of amateur films made in all formats and on all media. Essential to the constitution of 20th century memory, these personal films show aspects of reality ignored in classical cinema. This collection, a source of an important heritage wealth, hosts both family films and fictions, reports or cartoons, made by non-professional filmmakers and videographers.
The audiovisual center welcomes you and advises you in the delivery of your original films or copies that you wish to entrust. They will be saved, digitized and kept at the audiovisual center. You retain ownership of your films and choose the conditions for their communication (on-site consultation, use in workshops, documentary productions, etc.).
If you have recorded your testimony or the testimony of a relative on cassette, DVD or any other medium and wish to hand it over to the audiovisual centre of the Memorial, please contact us.
