In the face of attempts to instrumentalize and distort history, knowledge remains our best bulwark. During the school year that has just passed, the Memorial accompanied 184,300 students in their journey of discovery and reflection. Nearly 9,990 professionals have also been trained, including a very large majority of first and second degree teachers. We reaffirm our determination to fight against hatred and falsifications of history, by relentlessly pursuing our missions.

This desire is also reflected in our educational programming. For the 2026-2027 school year, the Shoah Memorial offers a renewed and diversified offer, designed to support teachers and enrich students' learning paths.

Throughout these pages, you will find activities related to the theme of the National Competition for Resistance and Deportation (CNRD) 2026-2027, "Foreigners in the Resistance (1940-1945)", several events on the occasion of the Week of education and actions against racism and antisemitism, new thematic routes, guided tours, educational workshops organized at fixed dates as well as a unique program of cultural events.

This school year will also be marked by the launch, at the Shoah Memorial in Paris, of an artistic competition open to primary school students.

In Drancy, the third edition of the oratory competition for high school classes will continue. The Memorial also reinforces its commitment to accessibility by offering guided tours adapted to audiences with disabilities.

More than ever, our responsibility is to transmit a history based on knowledge of facts, in order to allow younger generations to benefit from the necessary tools of vigilance in the face of the challenges posed by contemporary issues. It is resolutely in this spirit that we tirelessly pursue our action.
