This ceremony is organized by the Volunteers Committee for Jewish Veterans of the Shoah Memorial, in partnership with the National Office of Combatants and War Victims.

During this ceremony, a special tribute will be paid to Boris Holban, who died 20 years ago, by the historian Annette Wieviorka.

Monday, May 27, 2024 at 7 p.m., as part of the national day of resistance and the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of France, the Shoah Memorial looks back at the journey of the committed Jewish volunteers during the Second World War, in the light of new historical research.

On this occasion, the film "The torn letters", directed and produced by Yves Fajnberg, will be broadcast. In the presence of the director Yves Fajnberg, with Marion Gros, doctoral assistant at the University of Geneva and Géraldine Pigault, journalist and PhD student at the University of Montpellier-III.
