This ceremony is organized by the Volunteers Committee for Jewish War Veterans of the Shoah Memorial, in partnership with the National Office for Combatants and Victims of War.
Monday, May 27, 2024 at 7 p.m., as part of the National Day of Resistance and the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of France, the Shoah Memorial looks back at the journey of Jewish volunteers during the Second World War, in the light of new historical research.
On this occasion, the film "Les lettres déchirées", directed and produced by Yves Fajnberg, will be screened. In the presence of director Yves Fajnberg, with Marion Gros, PhD student at the University of Geneva and Géraldine Pigault, journalist and PhD student at the University of Montpellier-III.
