Friday 20 May 2022Saturday 21 May 2022

The Terezín concentration camp is one of the key sites of tragic memory in Central Europe.  It is the symbol of the memory of the Holocaust and the Second World War for the Czechs. It consists of a former Gestapo prison and a Jewish ghetto. In a broader context, Terezín is a transfer station on the way to the eastern extermination camps, not only for the Czech Jewish community, but also for the citizens of Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Slovakia and Hungary.

The objective of the meeting is to make the French public rediscover the history of Terezín.
