March 19, 2020 update

Our Documentation Center is closed but you can consult online information about the deported Jews of France and access to nearly 90,000 records of photographs, archival documents, books, films, sound recordings, posters...

You will also find many educational resources on our website, for teachers and parents. To be discovered in particular, the Attic of Sarah, a site of introduction to the history of the Shoah designed for primary school children, and more particularly for 8-12 years old, in the respect of the sensitivity of the young visitor.

March 18, 2020 update

Unfortunately, the health crisis we are going through does not allow us to carry out our fundamental missions for now, as all our spaces are closed to the public.

Nevertheless, we want to stay in touch with you during these difficult times. We will thus offer you on social networks a virtual walk through our permanent and temporary collections, invite you to discover objects and archival documents, to listen to survivors' testimonies.

Following the new lockdown measures, the Mémorial bookstore unfortunately has to temporarily suspend all online orders, processing, and deliveries of books since March 14, 2020, until further notice.

Following the measures implemented by the French government to limit the coronavirus – COVID-19 epidemic, the Shoah Memorial will be closed to the public as of March 15, 2020 and until further notice.
