2006, Israeli, Directed by Nicole Bard and Barak Bard,
This film retraces the resistance to the German occupation of Jewish youth movements in France during World War II. More specifically, the "Eclaireurs Israélites de France (EIF)" and the "Mouvement de Jeunesse Sioniste (MJS)" which opposed anti-Jewish laws and repression. They saved thousands of Jewish lives and later joined the French Resistance. The story is only told by those who have lived it without any comment from the directors. Filmed between 1997 and 2004, these unpublished testimonies constitute exceptional and irreplaceable archives.
