After a discovery of the Yiddish world and pre-war klezmer, children are invited to question the role of this music in daily life. The session also allows to address the arrival to power of the Nazis and the gradual implementation of all forms of artistic expression: music, painting, theater... In this very particular context, how have men and women been able to continue to transmit and develop a living Yiddish culture, sometimes at the risk of their own lives? This universe, now disappeared, is reconstructed thanks to music excerpts and archival documents.
A writing workshop then allows each child to "put into words" a rediscovered music.
