Public tribute to Simone Veil at the Shoah Memorial Free admission by reservation

The Shoah Memorial and the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah organize, in partnership with the Union of the Deportees of Auschwitz and the Sons and Daughters of the Jewish Deportees of France, a public tribute dedicated to Simone Veil on Tuesday, July 11 at 7pm at the Shoah Memorial (free entry by reservation).
From Wednesday, July 5, 2017, the Memorial makes available in its premises to the public (from 10 am to 6 pm) a register of condolences so that everyone can pay tribute to him.
Simone Veil had been a member of the board of directors of the Memorial of the Unknown Jewish Martyr and the Centre for Contemporary Jewish Documentation (CDJC) since the 1980s, she then served as its vice-president. She was also one of the founding members of the Shoah Memorial and was the first president of the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah, from 2001 to 2007, then honorary president.
