Public tribute to Simone Veil at the Shoah Memorial Free admission by reservation

The Shoah Memorial and the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah, in partnership with the Union of Auschwitz Deportees and the Sons and Daughters of Jewish Deportees from France, are organizing a public tribute dedicated to Simone Veil on Tuesday, July 11 at 7 p.m. at the Shoah Memorial (free entry by reservation).
Starting on Wednesday 5 July 2017, the Memorial will be making a register of condolences available to the public (from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) so that everyone can pay tribute to him.
Simone Veil has been a member of the board of directors of the Memorial of the Unknown Jewish Martyr and the Centre for Contemporary Jewish Documentation (CDJC) since the 1980s, after which she served as vice-president. She was also one of the founding members of the Shoah Memorial and was the first president of the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah, from 2001 to 2007, then honorary president.
