Homosexuals and lesbians in Nazi Europe

For a long time, the fate of 'pink triangles' was taboo and remains unknown. Indeed, it was only thanks to the gay and lesbian liberation movement of the 1970s that the subject began to be debated. This exhibition places the persecution of homosexuals under the Nazi regime in a European framework, while focusing on the German and French case, from the first homosexual movements at the end of the 19th century to the most recent memorial processes. Life histories bear witness to the heterogeneous destiny of homosexual men and women during this period, when they were sometimes also Jews, resistance fighters, even sympathizers of the regime.
