"Crystal Night" “Shoah Memorial

On the night of November 9 to 10, 1938, a wave of violence against the Jews in Germany and Austria was unleashed. Called 'Crystal Night' because of the many broken windows, this first major manifestation of antisemitic violence, orchestrated by the Nazi regime, aims to accelerate the emigration of Jews, considered too slow.
