ghetto de Varsovie Mémorial de la Shoah

© Shoah Memorial

The Warsaw Ghetto was the largest ghetto established by the Nazis during the Holocaust. From its creation in the autumn of 1940 until its destruction after the heroic revolt of the fighters against the German army in April-May 1943, it will bring together up to 450,000 people. This exhibition aims to illustrate, through the example of the Warsaw ghetto, the policy of confinement of Jews in ghettos, implemented by the Nazis on Polish territory.
