Words of Stars Memory of Hidden Children, 1939-1945

Paroles d'Etoiles, "the album of hidden children (1939-1945)" was first a Librio published by Radio France, an illustrated book and an audiovisual documentary before taking the form of an exhibition that proposes to restore the memories of Jewish children hidden in France during the Second World War.

Thanks to the 'Hidden Children' Association, which has been collecting their memories for 10 years, and to calls made on the antennas of Radio France, more than 800 testimonies have thus been collected.

Created with the help of the CDJC’s Archives, the exhibition Paroles d'Etoiles was presented at the Mémorial de Caen, then at the Salon de l'Education (CDJC Stand – Parc des Expositions de Paris, from 20 to 24 November). As part of a partnership between the CDJC and the Regional Council of Ile-de-France, a copy of the exhibition will circulate in middle schools and high schools of the Region.
