Fabien Gilot, a famous European, world and Olympic swimming medalist, returns to the footsteps of Alfred Nakache, French champion swimmer in 1942 and deported to Auschwitz in 1943 where he is forced to swim in the cold waters of a water retention basin to entertain the Nazis.

Fabien Gilot sets out to discover this hero who participated after the war in the London Olympic Games in 1948.
