Contemporary memory holds a special place for the Holocaust, an unprecedented event in history. The characteristic of any event is to be historicized, mediatized, in short to become a subject of fiction. The Shoah could not escape it. Not without caution, errors and trial and error but also with genius, the comic strip thus took over the Shoah.
