The genocide of the Armenians of the Ottoman Empire Exhibition at the Center for Armenian Memory in Décines (Rhône)

Saturday 09 January 2016Saturday 30 April 2016

During the First World War, the party-state governing the Ottoman Empire implemented the systematic destruction of its Armenian and Syriac subjects, thus breaking with the multi-ethnic imperial tradition.
The Shoah Memorial has dedicated an exhibition to these events, which prefigure the mass murders of the 20th century, highlighting the denial that the Armenian Genocide continues to be the subject.
