Jewish, fighter, poet, Abba Kovner is 23 years old when he finds himself locked up in the ghetto of Vilnius. After having tried to organize the insurrection there, this born leader fled through the sewers to reach the forest, where he becomes a legend by his exploits in battle. Above all, Abba Kovner is the first to have publicly called upon his followers to take up arms.

In the presence of the author Dina Porat, Alexandra Laignel-Lavastine, translator, and Jean-Luc Landier, former deputy director general of the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah.
