Janina Hescheles was only twelve years old when she fled the Janowska concentration camp in Poland in 1943, and wrote in her notebook what will remain one of the few testimonies of children written at the heart of the Holocaust. The notebook is hidden until its publication in 1946 in Krakow, but it falls into oblivion and is only rediscovered in 2011 in Ukraine. It is the beginning of an editorial adventure all over the world. In six years, the notebook is published in eleven languages, with an epilogue of the author carefully considered. For Janina, the resurrection of her notebook gives new life to her fight for peace in Israel.
