90,000 children lost on the roads of the exodus, 650,000 orphans, 120,000 young delinquents, 11,500 Jewish children deported... For a long time, the childish experience of the Second War was killed. They were, however, placed at the heart of the regeneration project of Marshal Pétain, put to work, faced with hunger, death, deportation, condemned by an outdated justice system, hidden among strangers, sometimes used by the Resistance...

In the presence of the directors and witnesses Roger Charles, Francine Christophe, Bernard Dermont, Robert Frank, Raymonde Frazier-Nowodworski, Jean Touyarot, and Tomi Ungerer (subject).
