Philippe Sands, a lawyer dedicated to judging the mass crimes, meets the sons of two high dignitaries nazis : Niklas Frank, son of Hans Frank, Nazi governor of occupied Poland, and Horst von Wächter, son of Otto von Wächter, Nazi governor of Galicia in Ukraine. While Niklas has a lucid look at his father’s guilt, Horst is still living in denial. The lawyer confronts him with evidence and documents from the era.
