In July 1940, the German authorities isolated a part of France stretching from the Somme to the Swiss border to create "reserved areas" for Germanic colonization. They recruited hundreds of foreign Jews from the Paris region as agricultural labourers. Whole families are exhausted by working the fields before finally being deported.

In the presence of director Francis Gillery, writer Christine Dollard-Leplomb, historian Michel Laffitte, president of Terres Ardennaises Jacques Lambert, writer Maurice Rajsfus, and witnesses David Dawidowicz, Daniel Haber, Annette Janin, Mireille Miltsztayn and Sarah Mimoun.

Please note, as this event is fully booked in the auditorium, the remaining seats are in the broadcasting room.
