On December 20, 1963, the Auschwitz trial began in Frankfurt. The accused were Germans and others alike. Their particularity: all were SS during the war and served in a Nazi camp installed next to the Polish village Oświęcim, in German "Auschwitz". Facing them, nearly 360 witnesses, including 211 Auschwitz survivors. In a Germany hostile to the truth, they will confront for the first time the country with the crimes of its past and reveal to the world the horror of Auschwitz.

In the presence of the director Barbara Necek and Guillaume Mouralis, research fellow at CNRS.
