On December 20, 1963, the Auschwitz trial begins in Frankfurt. On the dock, Germans like others. Their particularity: all were SS during the war and served in a Nazi camp set up next to the Polish village Owiêcim, in German 'Auschwitz'. In front of them, nearly 360 witnesses, including 211 Auschwitz survivors. In a Germany hostile to the truth, they will for the first time confront the country with the crimes of its past and reveal to the world the horror of Auschwitz.
In the presence of the director Barbara Necek and Guillaume Mouralis, CNRS research fellow.
