American Jews participate fully in the reconstruction of Jewish life after the Holocaust. This comparative perspective on France and Belgium addresses the transnational framework of this renaissance of European Judaism through the actions of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (the Joint) and the Jewish Labor Committee.
This meeting will be followed by the screening of Hazak, a time to destroy, a time to build (20 mn, Éclaireurs et Eclaireuses israélites de France, with the support of Joint, 1947).
