"Voir, observer, penser" - three actions that will guide the photographer August Sander in his project of Men of the 20th century. During and after the Second World War, the awareness of what happened and the wound of the death in prison of his son Erich, inspire the composition of his great work. His son, grandsons and great-grandsons will continue this mission that has become a family one, in collaboration with specialists in photography.
