Exhibition 'Filming the war' at the Shoah Memorial in 2015
If since 1945 the images of the camps and the narratives of the Shoah have become one of the first references of horror, for about fifteen years a large public is confronted with the diffusion without filter and without comment of images and direct narratives of violence and death. Between rejecting voyeurism and refusing to be sweetened, what is the right attitude to adopt for museums whose mission is to educate against violence?
